History:

In 1998, Peter Kim ("Serpent") and I ("Reaper") were bored at work. Actually, that hasn't changed much even today, but at that point we were still filled with youthful exuberance and channeled our energy into side projects that we "got a kick" out of. Back then, Beanie Babies (TM) were all the rage, so we decided to have some fun with them. And thus, "Beanie Baby Hell" was born. Unfortunately, Ty, Inc's lawyers weren't so keen on the idea, and sent us a cease-and-desist letter. I was going to leave the site up, but I had stupidly registered "beaniebabyhell.com", which I guess constitutes a trademark violation. I took the site down on December 18, 1998.

Oh well. By then, Beanie Babies were out of fashion anyway.
