Sleeping

Let's just get this out of the way:

[September]
Q. Where have you been staying lately?
A. Oh, you know, on my couch, or at Emile's place. I stay at Geoff and Livia's place a lot, too. My sister lives in San Francisco, so I can crash with her, too.

[October/November]
Q. Where have you been staying lately?
A. Oh, I have keys to some friends' places. I crash on their couches or spare beds.

[December]
Q. Where have you been staying lately?
A. Around.

[January]
Q. Where have you been staying lately?
A. *silence*

But seriously. When I get asked this question, I feel like hugging the person for caring, and then smacking them for asking *again*. I know it's not fair, and I'll try not to be so grumpy in the future. Thank you for caring. :)

Hmm. Maybe I'm a hypocrite, because perfectly valid questions are, "where did you sleep last night?" and "where are you staying tonight?" :)
