Posted at 11:38 PM PST: "Brooklyn Bridge"
I just had the most wonderful evening walking across the Brooklyn Bridge in perfect weather. The sky was a deep midnight blue with just enough smog to bring out darkly saturated reds and purples, and a large crescent moon smiled at us (with a pale black disk also visible) from above the Manhattan skyline. Beautiful! We walked across to have pizza at Grimaldi's (take out -- you can sit at tables right on the river), and then went to Cones for gelato. Yum. :) I have to get some sleep now. I leave for the airport in 6.5 hours.

Whoops, forgot to mention, although it's barely worth mentioning; ignore the poor foolish mean guy and block his IP. Too bad evolution has stopped in humans.
Fantastic bridge pics. I grew up in NY and your recent posts have reminded me how nice it can be in the summer. And you get to enjoy the bonus of all of the heat-enhanced panoply of odors of NYC :) Where are you going diving? I dropped you a mail asking your opinion on a few places I'm considering. I've narrowed it down to Borneo (Sipidan) or Bora Bora. Malaysian Airlines has an incredible promotion going on...
hi eric! how are you? as always, enjoy reading your blog. please erase that filth that this guy posted. i usually wouldn't even qualify it with a post, but some people are best served where i am now (in the hospital)
