being a girl must be hard. i can't even imagine.

After working a hard week, I took today off. In the late morning I went to Koi Palace to have dim sum with Wendy, before dropping her off in the middle of San Francisco (she was meeting a friend). That place is amazing -- there was even a wait on a Friday morning! Eating a good breakfast is such a novelty these days. Yummm.....

Livia and I had lunch #2 (well, she ate, and I watched) at a crepe place down in Glen Park somewhere (where they had no ice cream for our dessert crepe. boo!). I went with her to the Rite Aid and Safeway up in Diamond Heights (she drove!!! -- her third time driving by herself, I think. hehehe. the address on her license is the address of some motel in Florida), and wandered through the mystery that is the cosmetics aisle. My head started hurting when I tried to imagine what it would be like to have to care about the aisle's contents. *shudder*

In the evening, Wendy and I met up with Charlotte (and her two cousins, + cousin's boyfriend) at The Blue Rock Shoot in Saratoga to see Vienna perform. I spotted Adam, Roger, and Christy in the audience. I hadn't seen Christy in a year in a half, so it was really nice to see her. Hopefully another year and a half won't have to pass before I get see her next. :)

When we walked into the back room at the Blue Rock Shoot, Vienna looked up and said (to the audience), "Oh, look! There's Wendy. I've never actually met her, but her brother posts lots of pictures on his web page." I believe Wendy replied: "yeah, I've seen you there, too." (I made up all of that dialog, but I think it's pretty close. :)

Strange. It's currently 4:40am, and Vienna is at WORK! What's up with that? I'm harassing her over IM.

I have to go to bed. The Perseid Meteor Shower peaks in around 24 hours, and I want to try to be awake for them. Hopefully I'll be positioned somewhere where the sky is clear and dark. If you're out late tomorrow evening, look up. :)
