It's just past 8am right now, and I'm AWAKE! Straaange dreams. I actually stumbled into bed at around 12:45am last night, which could possibly be a new personal record (at least, in the recent past). Soon, I'll be completely normal. MUHAHAHAHAHA!

I've been so tired lately...

... but my body and mind would not let me sleep. My mind was racing (about nothing in particular), and I tossed and turned almost all night. I dreamt that I was singing (rehearsal) with Vienna and my sister, but for some reason I couldn't match Vienna's beautiful, breathy voice (I guess it should be obvious that I could never match her voice, though. :). My voice was solid and piercing, and I couldn't tell whether I was in tune or not (the horror!). Then, my old friend Jamie Knox (from high school) called, and was lost trying to get to my house. He implied that it was my fault, because I had given him faulty directions. I tried looking up his location in all sorts of maps, but most maps I picked up weren't detailed enough to show street names (what useless maps!), so it took me forever to figure out where he actually was. Let's see... I remember hearing Vienna singing in the background, and stopping all conversation to listen, and thinking that it would be cool to have her around all the time so she could sing to me. Eventually, Jamie arrived at my house, and we talked about how confusing the area he was lost in was. He said that he would arrive at a stop sign and look to the left, but for some reason, but road to the left wouldn't be visible until he actually turned onto it.

Another delirious musical experience involved my sister kicking me at around 7am this morning. She kicked me just below the knee, and for some reason, I imagined that my left leg was the fingerboard of my cello, and the place she kicked was a high D, which made me blurt out, "you kicked me in D major!" hahahaha... so funny.

She said that when she kicked me, she was dreaming that I was throwing blowgun darts into the door of her room (I used to have a blowgun, and would sharpen the darts using a dremel), and by the end of the dream, her door was covered with them...

Oh, another thing that made my day yesterday was getting an email from Ike Brigham, who founded Ikelite Underwater Systems. I guess he has seen my underwater photography (palau and bora bora) and was concerned that my housing was defective:

You got some spectacular results, but I am not comfortable with the depth problems you encountered. This was one of the first of these we produced. Do you want to send us the housing for evaluation so we can repair or replace whatever is necessary?

I am very impressed with Ikelite's proactive customer service!
