Wetpixel Bahamas Shark Expedition 2006 with Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures
Wetpixel Bahamas Shark Expedition 2006, with Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures

If you're interested in underwater photography, check out Wetpixel.com! Or, check out last year's expedition.

Another year, another trip or two. I don't know how it's possible, but shark expeditions to the Bahamas with Jim Abernethy are getting better each year. This year's Wetpixel trip was especially special for me because it was the first time Wetpixel's three administrators had the opportunity to be on a boat together. We've done so many trips with Jimmy that I'm not going to be particularly wordy this time around. Enjoy the photos!

Comments on this site? I'd love to hear from you!

To book a trip aboard the Shear Water, contact Jim Abernethy's Scuba Adventures and let them know that Eric Cheng of Wetpixel.com referred you. To book a Wetpixel Bahamas Shark Expedition, contact me. I'm in the process of setting up two trips in 2007.

Hi Eric,

Wow! Your footage and photos are amazing! My heart was pumping just watching! My husband and I would like to know where all of the Tigers were filmed...I know it says "Tiger Beach", but what Bahamian island is it? Also, we would love to know if any trips are planned for 2008? This is simply amazing stuff! and really rare to see such large, adult, magnificent creatures! Kudos to you and your colleagues!

All the Best, Bonnie
