Love the salemas pics, and all the other fun fisheye pics.

Thank you for the amazing salemas photos. Did the salemas generate any noticeable current when they swam by? Regards,

Great work as usual, Eric. The salemas pics are really mind-boggling. Oh, a 1Ds in the water... you are a brave man. ;)

These pictures are fantastic-- certainly better than mine. Peru was a whole different kind of adventure, but it is so nice to get transported back to the Deep Blue. . . . Thanks!

Hi. I love your photography. Thanks for the IR tips i can't wait to try it out. Bye the way, do you use an autofocus system for your bird photgraphy. I find it hard to photograph birds in midflight, please email me a reply

I use all of the focus points in my camera simultaneously, and it has no problem tracking birds in flight. Any high-end SLR should be able to do it.

Wow.... what super pictures. I was so impressed I just booked to go diving on deep blue in June 2005. Which is best - the land or the diving? The sea lions and whale sharks look spectacular. I can't wait.

Hi Eric, I know this is a post long after your trip, but do you know if the Deep Blue is looking at alternatives for air? I dove Galapagos last December on another boat and the only option was Alum 80s. I am used to diving with Steel HP 100 tanks. I must admit I sucked up air faster in the Galapagos I was so excited with everything passing by.

The pictures you took at Cousins rock......the unidentified fish....actually, it looks to me the are both different. The first (shown under G. nudy) is a Spotted Hawkfish. The second appears to me as a Blotched Hawkfish. The differents you can see by the kind of spots.....the spotted one has clear spots. The second one is more "marbel-like" which is the drawing of a "blotched" one!. Maybe you can update this and use this info for future pictures. Many Nice diving!!! Gr. Mireille

Eric,

I'm going diving to the Galapagos the first week of December. As it appears you have dived there, both "their" summer and winter, I want to make sure that I am suited properly. Just how cold is it, and what do you typically wear? Also, if you could respond tp my email address, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Chris Lewis
