Santiago Island

I love Santiago Island. Local colonies of Galapagos sea lions and Galapagos fur sea lions are scattered around the dark, volcanic rock among marine iguanas, sally lightfoot crabs, lava herons, and numerous other animals. We had a great time walking around the island, taking photos, and enjoying the sea breeze. Last time I was here, we spotted a pod of orcas hunting sea lions not far offshore.
