RAJAH AMPAT 2004 - PAPUA DIVING

Papua Diving (hosted by Max Ammer)

Steve, Hiro and I arranged a short stay in the two new bungalows at Max Ammer's resort on Kri Island (Papua Diving). The second one had just been finished, and both were wonderfully modern and spacious. Max was a gracious host, and entertained us daily with stories of his adventures in Papua New Guinea. I highly recommend a meal with Max, if you get the chance.

The diving around his resort is unparalleled in the Rajah Ampat region, and I enjoyed the local reef there as much as I enjoyed the diving anywhere else. The lushest reefs I have ever seen were right there in front of the resort!
