Shih-Kang Dam My uncle runs the water conservation and sanitation department of the middle third of Taiwan. He took us to see his work place, which happens to sit on one side of the Shih-Kang Dam. The dam was seriously damaged in the September 21, 1999 earthquake, when one side of the river (the fault line runs right through the dam) dropped 10m in altitude. |
