Father Matis The last time I saw Father Matis was at the Vatican, in 1999. He took some friends and me on a private tour, and we were even fortunate enough to be allowed to climb the radio tower for an amazing view of the surrounding area. He has since resigned from his position as technical director of Radio Vatican, and moved to Taipei. It was a little strange (as usual) to hear Mandarin spoken with an Italian inflection. :) |
