WAKATOBI, DEC 2003 - MISCELLANEOUS FISH
[previous: wide angle] [next: leave a message!]

Miscellaneous Fish

There were, of course, many other species of fish in the waters around Wakatobi. I was unable to photograph most of them because of the macro-focused diving (I almost never had wide angle lenses on my camera). We saw a lot of crocodilefish, batfish, pufferfish, lizardfish, trevali, tuna, cornetfish, and many others. Crocodilefish have the most amazing eyes (presumably for camouflage).

Many of the batfish had isopods stuck to their faces, which was sad.
